Hi. My name is Amber Turnau and am currently living in Whistler, BC, Canada.
I grew up on a sailboat and travelled around the world with my parents for the first eight years of my life. I’d visited more than 20 countries before we returned to Canada. Since I was pretty much bitten by the travel bug at birth, I haven’t stopped travelling since. As an adult, I’ve ventured through Australia, Costa Rica, Thailand, and most of Europe.
My professional background is in journalism and I graduated from the Langara College Journalism Program in Vancouver, BC. Since then, my work has been published in a variety print titles, including the Burnaby NOW Newspaper, the Royal City Record Newspaper, Delta Optimist, Zoom Airlines In-Flight Magazine, VERVE In-Flight Magazine, Pacific Yachting, ION Magazine, Dose.ca, Vancouverplus.ca and more.
I have also recently delved into the world of public relations and am currently part of Whistler Blackcomb’s media relations team.
On my blog, you will find randomness. I love to tell stories, you will find all the topics that interest me: love, travel, sex, adventure, fashion, art and sport. Everything I say here is genuine and authentic.
I’m always on the lookout for freelance work so if you like what you see Contact Me.
